At NRG, we highlighted our success stories for two reasons: to showcase our accomplishments and to define how we could enhance our offerings. Uncovering each case study was very fulfilling since our team had the chance to collaborate with other departments and offsite personnel.
I interviewed colleagues from across the entire organization — salespeople, executives, onsite plant workers, you name it. The goal was to unveil any and every detail that would add context to the audience. From there, I pieced together the challenge, goal, and outcome of the project, and then tied it together with the juicy details that drove home the lessons learned.
